I'm not at all trying to start a debate with this note, the last thing I want is drama about the topic. I just want to share an experience I had on my Honeymoon with you all and what it did for me.
Like most people, I have body issues and at times am embarrassed at how I look but this is something I am desperately trying to change. In my effort to change my body outlook as well as have a more positive outlook on life, I decided to do something bold today so Blane and I visited a clothing optional beach and swam and relaxed... well, you surely get it by now?
There were so many people swimming clothing free and seeing so many people embrace their natural selves was so beautiful! Nobody gawked at us, made us feel out of place, and it was so nice to see so many others partaking in the moment, just as we were. It was an incredibly empowering and soothing experience and I'm so glad we did it! I'd happily do it again next time we're in Florida! I'm starting to love my body and this experience helped so much! There were so many people of different shapes, sizes, and ages, seriously, it was a beautiful experience!
I'm not trying to change who I am completely but I am trying to be more bold, more open, more carefree, and more at peace with my looks and who I am and this was a great step in the right direction. I left the old me in Florida and brought a more confident me back home and I am so excited about that!
For anyone wondering, the beach we visited was Apollo Beach. It has many areas for people to enjoy, including areas where people ARE meant to wear clothes. The entire beach isn't 100% nude, but it has a section meant for nudity.

Just Married!
Blane and I are finally husband and wife and I couldn't be happier! The wedding was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have had a better day to celebrate the love we have for one another! I'm so blessed to finally be married to my hero, we've waited so long! We've been through so many struggles, wondered so many times if fate would work in our favor, and yesterday was proof that everything worked out in the end. It was proof that our love was strong enough to get us to our magical day!
Thanks to everyone who has supported us and who has sent their well wishes! Pictures and videos will be coming as soon as they are made available to us! In th
Thank you! Yes, you!
I'm not always able to comment on someone's account to personally thank them for favoriting my picture or adding me to their watch list and many times I don't get to doing so until a few weeks after I'm notified of it so I wanted to just take a quick second to just say thanks! Thank you to everyone who has visited my account, added one of my photos to their favorites list or an album, watched my account, given me a llama badge, left a nice comment, just thank you! You are so awesome to take the time out of your day to do so and you really make my day with your actions!
Thank you for everything you do here on DeviantART and any of my other me
Why I've Been Quiet
I've been wanting to be much more active here (and I promise I will be) but I did want to explain why things have gone a little quiet. I'm not only in the middle of getting everything together for Naka-Kon but just a couple of days ago I was informed that one of my cousins had a stroke. Basically, even if she was able to pull through it and breathe on her own she would have had no clue who any family member was, would have been unable to walk, and would have also been unable to talk so her family made the decision to pull the plug on her life support and I was just informed that she passed away this morning. She was only 38 years old, had a y
My First Journal!
First of all I just want to say I am so so excited to finally have a new account on deviantart. I made one back when I first started cosplaying in 2010 but that was long before I made a cosplay page and settled on a name for everything! I wanted to make a new account to reflect who I am in the cosplay community as well as to get a fresh start! Yes, I'm starting over from where I was but I'm really excited for this and hope you all are too! I will be uploading most of the photos from my old account but I will also be posting many new ones as well!
For my first journal entry I want to tell you just a bit about myself and I'll also provide link
